Use Your iPad to Run Your eBay Business With Ease

When you launch the app the first time, three daily deals pop up, and below that are three other specials, each which has its own theme. At the time of writing this article, they were sweet spot golf club specials. When you sign into the app with your regular eBay login and password, you are taken staright to the My eBay screen where you can view any items that you are currently watching. Once again, there are specials shown along the bottom of the screen. If you want to find an item, they simply enter text into the search box. This is one of the main parts of the app where you will notice an improvement.

Along the top of the screen you can choose to narrow the results by category simply by tapping on the all categories tab. The second option available is where you can choose what kind of listings you would like to be displayed-All, Auction, Buy it Now or Store Inventory. The last selection is whether you want the results listed by cheapest listing, most popular, newly listed or ending soonest. Along the bottom of the screen you can also adjust the slider to match your price range.

When you find an item that you would like to place a bid on, a pop-up box will display all the information about the product, along with a large, high-resolution photo. You can place a bid easily simply by tapping on the buy it now box. Just enter your maximum bid, confirm, and then you just have to wait to see if you have won the item.

There is only issue with the eBay iPad app that we can see. This is that it doesn’t yet give you the option to complete a purchase through the app, but hopefully this will be coming in a future update with this app, eBay has once again excelled itself with an easy to use simple app which enables you to buy almost anything you want using the iPad. Although the app still doesn’t allow you to pay for the items through PayPal, you can still pay for them through the PayPal app.

All in all, this is an excellent app for the iPad, and would recommend that you go and download it right away!
