After the release of Apple iPad, many people now want to know more and more about iPad. Well this is natural, whenever a new technology is born; many tech-geeks want to stick their heads on it and it is the same for iPad. Many people have been asking around particularly the specification of iPad. This happens often that, everyone is interested in the specs of new technologies. So, I took a bit of my time to tell thing or two about iPad.

The screen of iPad is 9.7 inch long and has multi-touch interface with IPS and with backlit LED. The screen resolution is 1024 x 768 at 132 ppi. Like in iPhone, you can view your iPad in either horizontal way or vertical way. Therefore, the screen resolution is different when in landscape or in portrait view. In portrait view, the resolution is 1024 x 768 and in landscape view it is 768 x 1024. So, the screen is in high-resolution and you can view HD videos in it.iPad Resolution

The iPad comes with different storages of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with different prices of course. The processor speed of iPad is 1GHz with A4 processor implanted in it. There is one models of iPad with Wi-Fi and another model with Wi-Fi and 3G, which will be out soon that will cost obviously more than simple model. The batter is powered for 10hrs after charging. Akin to iPhone, iPad has an accelerometer and compass in it too. All iPhone and iPod apps are supportable in iPad. Some people are saying that new apps for iPad will need new SDK to run them. SDK for iPad will be coming in market later. The iPad also have radio and Bluetooth 2.1 in it.
